The multi-stage roll die forming (RDF) process is a plastic forming process that can manufacture a transmission part with a complex shape, such as a drum clutch, by using a die set with rotational rolls. However, it is difficult to satisfy dimensional accuracy because of spring-back and unfilling. The purpose of this study is to design a multi-stage RDF process for the manufacturing of a drum clutch to improve dimensional accuracy using an artificial neural network (ANN). Finite element (FE) simulation of the multi-stage RDF process is performed to predict the dimensional accuracy according to various clearances for each stage. Moreover, the ANN is used to determine the relationship between the clearance and dimensional accuracy of the drum clutch to reduce the number of FE simulation. The results of the FE simulation and ANN are used to determine the optimal clearance for each stage of the RDF process. Finally, the drum clutch is fabricated using the determined conditions. The experimental results are in good agreement with the results of FE simulation from the aspect of outer diameter, inner diameter, thickness of outer tooth, thickness of inner tooth, and face thickness of tooth.  相似文献

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate whether elevated blood lead level (BLL) is a risk factor for Helicobacter pylori infection. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy was performed on 2,625 subjects who visited a university hospital for general health examination. H. pylori infection was detected using histologic examination with Giemsa staining, and BLLs were measured. The mean BLL was 2.83?±?1.31?μg/dL. The prevalence of H. pylori infection was 27.8%. The BLL was significantly higher in the H. pylori infection-positive group compared to the non-infected group (2.96?±?1.33?μg/dL vs. 2.78?±?1.30?μg/dL, p?<?0.001), which remained significant after adjusting for other confounders. H. pylori infection significantly increased as the BLL increased (OR: 1.143, 95% CI 1.068–1.223). We found a relationship between BLL elevation and H. pylori infection rate.  相似文献

There are numerous lines of clinical evidence that inhibition of the renin–angiotensin system (RAS) can prevent and delay the development of diabetes. Also, the role of RAS in the pathogenesis of diabetes, including insulin resistance and β‐cell dysfunction, has been extensively investigated. Nevertheless, this role had not yet been fully shown. A variety of possible protective mechanisms for RAS blockers in the regulation of glucose homeostasis have been suggested. However, the direct effect on pancreatic islet fibrosis has only recently been spotlighted. Various degrees of islet fibrosis are often observed in the islets of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, which can be associated with a decrease in β‐cell mass and function in these patients. Pancreatic stellate cells are thought to be deeply involved in this islet fibrosis. In this process, the activation of RAS in islets is shown to transform quiescent pancreatic stellate cells into the activated form, stimulates their proliferation and consequently leads to islet fibrotic destruction. In this article, we introduce existing clinical and experimental evidence for diabetes prevention through inhibition of RAS, and review the responsible local RAS signaling pathways in pancreatic stellate cells. Finally, we propose possible targets for the prevention of islet fibrosis.  相似文献
